Elestial Quartz is the name given to quartz with certain formations, with natural terminations all over the faces and body of a layered or etched crystal. Most are smoky, although there are a few clear found.
This particular specimen is so smoky in places that it appears tipped with charcoal colored points. It has fascinating terminations along one side that is reminiscent of pleats. There is a lot going on in this smaller example. Weighing in at .755 lbs, measuring 4″ x 2.5″ – it makes an excellent showpiece as the bottom is flat and it stands straight.
