Tiffany stone is a rock composed primarily of fluorite with smaller amounts of opal, calcite, dolomite, quartz, chalcedony, bertrandite and other materials.
Commonly seen in hues of purple and white, this one is unusual because of the golden brown. I suspect the mineral responsible is the calcite – but I really don’t know. It is a beautiful stone, deserving of its copper setting.
2 1/2″ x 1 3/4″ – this is a larger pendant. It comes with a thicker 19″ copper snake chain.
