Unlike rose quartz, which forms mostly as massive, these rare varieties of Pink quartz form in a standard 6 sided crystal with pointed terminations. They are generally found in clusters, with points ranging from small to very large.
This particular specimen has a fabulous array of crystal points and appears to be coated in places with hematite.
The specimen measures roughly 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ and weighs 5.19 oz.
This quartz is extremely light and heat sensitive and may fade due to long exposure to sunlight or heat.
